Project Overview

A vertically integrated agro-industrial complex in the Krasnodar Region — Russia’s most productive agricultural territory, equivalent to France’s Beauce in terms of yield and quality. The operation covers 12,000 hectares currently planted with winter wheat, sunflower and corn.

Existing Infrastructure

The asset includes modern grain storage facilities (50,000 tonne capacity), two harvesting complexes, and direct rail access to the Port of Novorossiysk — Russia’s primary Black Sea export terminal. Export contracts are already in place with buyers in the UAE, Egypt and Turkey.

Investment Opportunity

The project is seeking a strategic co-investor to fund expansion of the irrigation system and processing facilities, targeting a 40% increase in yield from Year 2. The investment is structured through a share acquisition in the operating entity.

Returns Profile

Agricultural land in Russia currently trades at 15–20x discount to comparable European assets. The combination of low entry cost and high export demand from the Gulf and Asia delivers an IRR of 20–26% over a 5-year horizon.
